After scrolling and searching an idea to blog. I saw "10 Day challenge". Another blog challenge for us especially me to write in my blog. So then my blog will full with new and updated post due to this challenge.. yeehaa!!!

Words of Life

Hi all, sorry for the MIA. Hihi.. It's been a busy day for me last few days because now I'm preparing for my "big day" so I need to go for a course and get ready for anything. But, today I'm not telling u about this but just want to share some thought n words that I read from today Daily Gospel.

So today Daily Gospel is from Mk 10:46-52

"Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road."

Here is the sharing that make me really love about today gospel:-

The Chinese word for busy consists of two characters (look at the below picture): 

the one on the left refers to the heart, while the other one on the right means dead. When we get so busy that we forget our heart, we "die" and become no different from the animals. Those two characters in Chinese are pronounced as "mang", which can also mean "blind". 

Again, blind consists of two characters (look at the below picture):

the one on top is the same as the character on the right in busy, that is dead, and the one below means eye. I may be healthy and with nothing wrong with my eyes, but because I am so busy, my heart is "dead" that my eyes are unable to see what is essential in life.

Valentine's Day @ Hari Valentine

Hari Santo Valentine, Hari Valentine atau Hari Memperingati Kekasih ialah satu hari santo yang memperingati Santo Valentinepada 14 Februari sebagai hari tradisi yang mana para kekasih meluahkan rasa cinta sesama sendiri; menghantar kad Valentine, menderma atau menghadiahkan gula-gula. Adalah satu kebiasaan juga untuk menghadiahkan bunga pada Hari Valentine. Perayaan ini dinamakan sempena dua orang lelaki, kedua-duanya syahid Kristian Awal yang berkongsi nama Valentine. Perayaan ini kini dikaitkan dengan asmara dalam lingkungan pengaruh Geoffrey Chaucer pada Zaman Pertengahan Tinggi, apabila mekarnya tradisi cinta asmara.

Hari istimewa ini paling rapat dikaitkan dengan pertukaran surat cinta dalam bentuk "valentine." Lambang-lambang Valentine moden termasuk garis berbentuk hati dan potret Cupid bersayap. Sejak abad ke-19, surat-surat bertulus telah banyak memberi laluan kepadakad ucapan keluaran besar-besaran.^[1] Perdagangan Hari Valentine pertengahan abad ke-19 merupakan petanda akan datangnya pengkomersialan perayaan di Amerika Syarikat.^[2] Persatuan kad Ucapan A.S. menganggarkan bahawa kira-kira sebilion kad Valentine dikirim di merata dunia setiap tahun, menjadikan Hari Valentine perayaan yang kedua paling banyak pengiriman kad mengekori Krismas. Persautan ini menganggarkan bahawa kira-kira 85% semua kad Valentine dibeli oleh kaum wanita.^[3]

Hari Valentine ini sebenarnya tidak diwajibkan pun untuk diraikan oleh orang ramai, tapi ramai juga yang sibuk dan teruja meraikannya apalagi kepada pasangan-pasangan kekasih. Bagi saya sambutan Hari Valentine ini tidak semestinya diraikan oleh pasangan kekasih sahaja tetapi hari ini juga boleh diraikan dengan keluarga di mana kita menunjukkan cinta dan sayang kita terhadap mereka. Kita juga boleh meraikannya dengan rakan dan sahabat handai untuk menunjukkan kita mengambil berat tentang mereka. 

Tapi mesti ada yang tertanya-tanya kan, kenapa mesti kita menunjukkan kasih sayang dan mengambil berat pada orang yang kita sayang pada Hari Valentine, hari-hari lain tidak boleh kah? Boleh, sudah tentunya boleh. Tiada siapa pun yang melarang kita untuk tunjukkan betapa kita cinta, sayang dan mengambil berat terhadap orang yang kita sayang. Tapi adakah kita menunjukkannya setiap hari, pasti tidak kan. Mungkin kita kadang-kadang leka melakukan kerja-kerja seharian kita sampai lupa pada mereka yang sentiasa mengingati kita. Mungkin juga masa kita sibuk dengan tugasan-tugasan penting hingga kita leka seseorang sedang menantikan pesanan mahupun ucapan daripada kita.

Jadi, itulah saya katakan Hari Valentine ini boleh kita gunakan untuk menunjukkan betapa kita menyayangi pasangan, keluarga, sahabat handai, dan rakan-rakan kita yang telah lama tidak berjumpa. Bagi saya, tidak semestinya hari ini disambut tapi hari ini merupakan hari seperti tarikh kelahiran kita, tarikh ulang tahun perkahwinan, mahupun tarikh penting yang kita boleh gunakan untuk mengingati orang yang kita sayangi.

I'm Back!!!

Hi there... I'm back from a long holiday. Not really long actually (4 Days) but for me, it's still long enough to get rest and going somewhere for vacation.

Balik Kampung!!!

Yeay!!! I'll going back to mumy kampung for Chinese New Year celebration today. So, will only working half day today. Tdak tau la kenapa my feeling so excited. Hopefully spending a few days there will be very enjoy and fun. 

Hurm... can i still get this... please... (muka kesian) huhu...

p/s: teringat pula masa time kecik2 dlu, always balik kampung 2 days before CNY with mom n help ama n akong prepare food for chinese prayer(1 day before CNY) and bakar all the duit kertas untuk orang mati. Really missed the moment :)
